Chief M. A. Aderiye – Representing Ondo Province

Chief Mathew Ajayi ADERIYE, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, had his education at Christ’s School, Ado-Ekiti, Cum Laude, Central State University, Wilberforce, Ohio, Wayne State University, Detriot, Michigan. He is Chairman, Agro Nigerian Ventures Limited and a past member of the Board of Directors, Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc.

He worked with Detroit office of Ernst & Young, had many years of experience in all areas of public accountancy practice and was engagement partner for the audit of many multinational companies. He retired as Managing partner and Chairman Ernst & Young West Africa, and serve as Consultant to the Firm. He served as System Analyst to Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, USA, as Accountant Restaurant & Waldorf Associate, New York, USA, Executive Trainee, Pfizer International, New York, USA.

He has several honours and awards to his credit including Wall Street Journal ‘Student Achievement Award’, Supreme Life Insurance Company of American Award, Society for Advancement ‘Scholar of the Year Award’, named to Apha Kappa Mu National Honour Society and has chieftaincy titles. He is involved in many Church and social activities within the community.
