Law Faculty Building Complex Commisioned

Ajayi Crowther University Oyo has commissioned the Faculty of Law Building complex. The complex is a magnificent and multi-functional building complex with ultramodern facilities.

The Faculty complex was donated by Mr. Modupe and Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija. The donors who are members of the Anglican Communion are well known for their remarkable acts of philanthropy.

The Chairman, Board of Trustees, Emeritus Professor O.O Akinkugbe CFR MD, thanked the Alakijas for their wonderful gesture and charged the University by saying that he hoped that the “epitome of bricks and mortar will be complimented by excellence in the recruitment of merit-worthy faculty members and students”.

The New Faculty of Law Complex was commissioned by Most Revd. Dr Nicholas D. Okoh, Primate and Archbishop of Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion)

The occasion was graced by the children of the donors, many bishops of the Supra-Diocesan Board West who were also holding a retreat in the University; Chairman and members of the Board of Trustees, Chairman and members of the Governing Council, the Representative of Oyo State Governor, the Principal Officers among others.
