NOTICE TO MEMBERS OF THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY
– APPROVAL OF TEMPORARY OPERATING LICENCE TO ACU RADIO
The Vice-Chancellor announces with delight that the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has granted the Ajayi Crowther University Radio (ACU 88.5 FM) a temporary operating licence, effective from Saturday, 1st August, 2020.
The heart-warming message was conveyed to the Vice-Chancellor via the Commission’s letter Ref. NBC/SLA/LIC/19/VOL.IV dated July 21, 2020 and signed on behalf of the Director-General of the Commission by its Secretary.
With this development, the ACU 88.5 FM Radio will now broadcast more robust programmes in its services to the University Community in particular, and the people of Oyo and its environs at large.
The Vice-Chancellor rejoices with all members of the University Community on this achievement and urges that the Radio be put to maximum use for the benefit of the University, Oyo Town and its environs.
