Dr. Bosede Adebimpe Ajiboye (CLN, MC30) who hailed from Ilesa, Osun State, was born on the 25th June, 1972 in Yelwa-Ishar, Plateau State of Nigeria, where she spent the first 18 years of her lifetime.
Dr. Ajiboye started her higher education at the erstwhile Ondo State College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti, where she obtained the Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) in the year 1996. She has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Library and Information Science (with specialty in Records, Information Management, Current and Emerging Technologies) from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, in the year 2016, having obtained her first degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria in the year 2000 and a Master of Information Science from the Africa Regional Centre for Information Science of the University of Ibadan in 2006, she is also a Master E-Book Creator (MC30) and licensed to practice by the Librarians’ Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN) (Reg. No. 02259).
Dr. Ajiboye’s journey into the Librarianship career began in the year 2007 as a Librarian II at the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, she later joined the employ of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, on the same designation and rose through the ranks to become an Associate Professor of Library Science/Deputy University Librarian.
She has made significant contributions to the field, having authored over 30 scholarly papers published in highly rated on-shore and off-shore journal outlets.
Before her appointment as the University Librarian of Ajayi Crowther University, she was the Head, Serials Department at ‘Nimbe Adedipe Library of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, and the Head of Department Designate of the proposed Library and Information Science Department of the same University.
Dr. Bosede Ajiboye has attended some couples of conferences, workshops and seminars and also facilitated in series of Training on Information and digital Literacy, Research Skills and use of Electronic Information Resources and emerging technologies within and outside the University settings. She had supervised and co-supervised 14 postgraduate dissertations and also served as an Internal-External Examiner of three dissertations.
At the professional level, Dr. Ajiboye is the current Vice-Chairman of the Ogun State Chapter of the Nigeria Library Association, and an active member of the Society of Nigerian Archivists and the National Association of University Women, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta Chapter.

Dr. Ajiboye is married to a full-time Anglican Priest; the Venerable Oluwasanmi Ajiboye, who hailed from Ajowa Akoko in Ondo State, and they are blessed with four godly children.
