Distinguished Personality Lecture: ACU PG School to Host Prof. Farombi
The Postgraduate School, Ajayi Crowther University (ACU), Oyo, is set to host a Distinguished Personality Lecture focusing on the critical link between academia and the corporate world.
The event, scheduled for Wednesday, 25th March, 2026, would feature a renowned
Professor of Biochemistry, Molecular Toxicology, and Translational Medicine at the University of Ibadan’s College of Medicine, Prof. Ebenezer Olatunde Farombi.
Prof. Farombi, a distinguished academic who is also the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Chrisland University, Abeokuta, will deliver the lecture, titled “University-Industry Collaboration and Knowledge Transfer: The Two Intricate Nexus in National Development.”
The lecture is expected to dissect the symbiotic relationship between higher education institutions and industries, exploring how this partnership can be a powerful engine for driving national development through effective knowledge transfer and innovation.
The event will be held by 10:00 AM., at the Modupe and Folorunsho Alakija Law Auditorium of the main campus of Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo.
The Dean, Postgraduate School, Prof. Paul Akanbi, is the host, while the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ebunoluwa Oduwole, will be the Chief Host of the day.
Faculty members, postgraduate students, and industry stakeholders are hereby invited, as the lecture promises to be an insightful exploration of the future of academia-industry synergy in Nigeria.
