ACU HOLDS MATRICULATION FOR CERTIFICATE, CONVERSION STUDENTS

Students undertaking certificate and Conversion Programmes in AJAYI CROWTHER UNIVERSITY, yesterday held a Matriculation Ceremony at Modupe and Folorunso Alakija Auditorium, Faculty of Law on Monday, February 17, 2020.

At the event, the Vice-Chancellor Rt. Rev. Dapo F. Asaju, represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Jacob Adeniyi, admonished the students to adhere to the tenets of academic pursuits, and keep to the disciplinary standards of the University.

The students came to study various programmes of the University, specifically, Cinematography and film Studies, Entrepreneurship and Religious Studies.

The students were told to utilise their time optimally and focus on their studies. Some of them came for Certificate Studies in Cinematography and Film Studies, while students from Peter Akinola Institute of Entrepreneurial Studies, an affiliate of Ajayi Crowther University, came for Diploma in Entrepreneurial Studies. Other Students came for Bachelor of Art, Theology. 

The Registrar Mrs Adenike T. Fatogun led them in the Oath of allegiance to authorities of the University. The Heads of Departments of the various Programmes namely, prof. Bode Sowande (performing arts), Prof. O. Oshin (Entrepreneurship) and Prof. Taiye Aluko (Religious Studies) addressed the students and advised them to be serious with their studies.

Other top officials of the University present at the event were Pastor Sampson Olojede (Bursar), Dr Mrs. Beatrice Fabunmi (Librarian), Prof. Tunji Titilola (Director of Academic Affairs), Prof. Joel Ayababo, Chairman, Committees of Deans amongst Others.
