ACU LOSES FORMER CHAIRMAN BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The immediate past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, and the first Professor of Medicine in Nigeria, Professor Oladipo Akinkugbe passed away at the age of 86 on Monday, June 15, 2020. He was Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajayi Crowther University and was reputed to have attracted some of those who donated buildings to the University, namely Dr. Theophilus Danjuma and Mr. and Dr. Folorunso Alakija. The Vice-Chancellor mourned his loss and regretted that the University and the academic community across the nation would miss him.
