AJAYI CROWTHER UNIVERSITY SHUTS DOWN – STUDENTS TO CONTINUE STUDIES ONLINE
In compliance with the directives of the Federal Government of Nigeria and the National Universities Commission (NUC), and in consideration of the health and well-being of our students, the University Senate has decided to effect the suspension of studies by students and approved that they return home to their parents with effect from Saturday, 21st March 2020.
Students, especially those from distant homes, who wish to stay for some days may be allowed to do so for not more than the next one (1) week during which period they are expected to have made contacts with their parents/guardians for their movement from the University.
All students shall continue their studies online during the period of the shutdown of the University. Lectures for all courses this semester shall be posted on the University website as from the second week in April, while written notes shall be forwarded to the students also online. While working at home, students shall submit assignments to their departments.
The resumption date shall be communicated to students and their parents in due course.
The Management Committee will meet to decide on how the shutdown will affect members of staff. In the interim, all members of staff shall continue to report at their duty posts until otherwise directed.
We pray for journey mercies for our students as they travel home, and for divine protection for them while away from the University.
