A Tribute to Excellence: The Life, Legacy, and Professional Voyage of Prof. Timothy Abiodun Adebayo

Today August 26, 2025, A Public Lecture organized by the Faculty of Agriculture in honour of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Timothy Abiodun Adebayo, was held at Modupe & Folorunso Alakija Faculty of Law Auditorium, with the Vice-Chancellor and all Principal Officers, Deans, heads of Units, the entire University community, friends and well wishers present.

The lecture, titled “Life, Legacy and Professional Voyage of Prof. Timothy Abiodun Adebayo”, was delivered by the Vice-Chancellor of Abiola Ajimobi Technical University, Ibadan, Prof Sola Ajayi.
In his presentation, the lecturer captured the stunning academic journey of Prof. Adebayo, reflecting on his humility, brilliance, patience, resilience in overcoming challenges, and commitment to excellence. He further noted the Vice-Chancellor’s passion for mentoring, dedication to lifting others, and his immense leadership qualities. He said he was not surprised that Prof Adebayo excelled as the Vice-Chancellor of Ajayi Crowther University.
