ACU Set To Host Health, Economic Empowerment Event for Women

Ajayi Crowther University (ACU) is set to host a landmark event dedicated to the holistic well-being of women, combining critical health awareness with practical economic empowerment.

The event which would take place on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, is tagged “Celebrating ACU Women” with the Theme: “Giving Good Health To Gain Quality Life,” promises a day of comprehensive engagement and would kick off in the early hours with a focus on preventive healthcare from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at the University Health Center.

The health checks will be followed with a Fun Fair scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., providing a space for networking and relaxation.

The intellectual core of the event would take place at the Crowther Hall from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, featuring a lineup of distinguished female facilitators addressing pressing health concerns unique to women.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ebunoluwa Oduwole is the Chief Host of the day.
