ACU Vice-Chancellor Attends EKSU Convocation as Registrar Bags Ph.D

The Vice-Chancellor of Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, Professor (Mrs.) Ebunoluwa Oduwole, FNAL, FCIA, was among distinguished guests at the 30th convocation ceremony of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, held on Saturday, April 11, 2026.
The ceremony, which attracted academics, dignitaries, and well-wishers from across the country, marked a significant milestone for graduating students and honourees of the institution.
Highlight of the event was the conferment of a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree on the Registrar of Ajayi Crowther University, Dr. Bode Olofinmuagun, FCIA, in recognition of his academic achievement and contribution to scholarship.
His thesis is on sociolinguistic study of the influence of context on language choices in selected Nigerian  plays.
Professor Oduwole’s presence at the ceremony underscored the strong institutional ties and academic collaboration between Ajayi Crowther University and Ekiti State University, Ado – Ekiti.
The convocation ceremony featured the award of degrees, prizes, and honours to deserving graduates across various disciplines, celebrating excellence in education and research.
