VC Celebrates Outgoing Corps Members

The Vice-Chancellor, Ajayi Crowther University (ACU), Oyo, Prof. Ebunoluwa Oduwole, has showered praises on the 2025 Batch B Stream 1 corps members as they rounded off their one-year mandatory national service at the university.

In a warm farewell session held in her office, Prof. Oduwole received the outgoing corps members, who were adorned in their official NYSC kits and proudly displayed their passing-out certificates. The Vice-Chancellor lauded their dedication, diligence, and positive contributions to the university community throughout their service year.

She extended her best wishes for their future careers and personal growth, expressing confidence in their ability to succeed beyond the walls of the university.

Reflecting on their transformative journey at ACU, two of the corps members, Joyce Abiola and Seun Oguntoye, spoke glowingly about their experience on behalf of their colleagues.

“Serving at ACU has been an amazing and memorable chapter in my life. The management and staff treated me like family and taught me the importance of treating everyone with equality and respect,” Joyce Abiola said.

Seun Oguntoye added, “My time at ACU has been incredible. Beyond the professional exposure, I have been deeply impacted spiritually and morally. This experience has shaped my character in ways I will never forget.”

The corps members – including Temitope Olofintuyi, Elizabeth Awoyemi, Lateefat Abdulganiyu, Julianah Ifeyemi, alongside Joyce and Seun – posed for group photographs with the Vice-Chancellor. They expressed profound appreciation for her motherly care and guidance, not only to them but also to the corps members who are still serving at the university.
