VC Receives Mind Education Team, Seeks Expansion of Curriculum
The Vice-Chancellor of Ajayi Crowther University, Prof. Ebunoluwa Olufemi Oduwole, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, received the Mind Education team from South Korea in her office. The delegation was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Ronke Ogunmakin.
During the meeting, the Vice-Chancellor discussed strategies for expanding the Mind Education curriculum and exploring new partnership opportunities with universities in South Korea through academic exchange programmes.
Prof. Ogunmakin explained that the Vice-Chancellor expressed satisfaction with the impact of the Mind Education programme on ACU students. She added that with her background in Philosophy, Prof. Oduwole shared ideas on enriching the curriculum to make it more comprehensive and globally relevant.
“The team met again with the Vice-Chancellor, who proposed expanding the Mind Education curriculum to include Anglicanism, leadership, and other key components that will enable ACU to engage in both short and long-term exchange programmes with South Korean universities,” Prof. Ogunmakin noted.
“She also pointed out incorporating music, nursing, and early childhood education into the programme and discussed how Mind Education can serve as a platform to showcase ACU students’ talents and values,” she added.
The Vice-Chancellor further extended an invitation to the Mind Education team to attend the University’s 17th Convocation Ceremony. The visiting team also presented certificates for 561 students graduating from the Mind Education programme this academic session.
